Doctors Within Borders is the primary urgent care and longitudinal clinic of Dade County Street Response. We are the "front door" for those who have been rejected or exhausted by conventional medical pathways.
Operating out of our innovative Freedom Lab clinic in Liberty City, we provide high-quality medical care to neighbors who are often excluded from even the most basic public services due to a lack of insurance, identification, or stable housing.
Services We Provide
We offer a robust range of clinical services, all 100% free of charge. We don't just treat symptoms; we provide a medical home for the "uninsurable."

Free Urgent Care: Walk-in medical screenings and treatment for acute illnesses and injuries.

Why We Are Different
Traditional healthcare systems often require mail-in addresses, valid government IDs, or upfront payments. We have removed those barriers.

Low-Barrier Access: No insurance? No ID? No problem. We believe healthcare is a human right, not a bureaucratic privilege.

The Freedom Lab Hub: Located at 4300 NW 12th Avenue, our clinic is co-located with essential community partners, including a free community fridge, a clothes donation site, and a community center.

Running a free urgent care in a system built for profit is a constant challenge. Every dollar donated to Doctors Within Borders goes directly toward medical supplies, lab tests, and life-saving medications.
